The deadline to register to vote in Rappahannock County is Oct. 8, but there is no reason to wait until the last minute. Local elections this November include a three-person race for the county’s next sheriff and a contested seat for the Jackson District’s representative on the County School Board. All five members of the County Board of Supervisors and the other four members of the School Board are running unopposed for re-election.
