Public House for

sale

Further up the street is the Flint Hill Public House, a popular restaurant run by John and Denise Pearson. After working in the Public House, the Pearsons took over the restaurant in 1995, renting the property from Sheila Wolk, the current owner.

The future of the restaurant appears uncertain, as the owner of the property has listed the property for sale for $1.1 million dollars with local realtor Julie Emery.

“We’ve talked about buying it,” said John Pearson, “but we have never been able to get things to where we can afford it.”

Emery said that she was currently negotiating an offer for the property but said that there was no firm contract at this point.
