How does a Manhattanite of Russian and Irish descent end up in Rappahannock County? The story of Mary Ann Dancisin is like a foot note illustration to the message of the keynote speaker, Joel Garreau, from the living Tbwns workshop that was held on May 31 in Sperryville. Mary Ann has had a full and satisfying career in fine wine in NYC, traveled all over the world and achieved professional success with a major high end wholesale importer. However, at one point, consumed with work, she longed to also fulfill her passions of photography, motorcycle and horseback riding.
