Admission will be $50 per car. No tickets will be sold at the gate. No food or beverages will be provided. Thus, picnic guests should bring their meals, drinks, chairs, umbrellas and blankets, advised the Warrenton-based nonprofit. The $50 per car fee will pay for entertainment and costs.
PEC believes about 1,000 people in about 350 vehicles will attend, PEC vice president Doug Larson said.
If PEC’s vehicle projection proves accurate, the picnic gate fees will produce about $17,500. Including contributions, the event ultimately should net $25,000 to $50,000, Larson said.
