Rappahannock News Staff Writer
With only a year in Rappahannock as assistant principle, Robyn Puryear was promoted to the position of principal after former principal Roger Mello suggested at the end of the year that they switch positions.
In late June, however, Mello announced that he was leaving for Culpeper County Public Schools after accepting the position of principal of the new Eastern View High School.
Now, Puryear is spending her first few days on the job finding a new assistant and looking forward to the new year.
