According to Marshall,'' McNinch tried to report his motorcycle stolen on Monday morning [June 18]. Marshall said Fairfax police then contacted him.
“By talking to the Fairfax police, questioning [McNinch] and using the Web sites during our investigation, we were able to put him at the location. We got a confession on the phone,” Marshall said. “The Internet was an integral part of the investigation,” he added.
McNinch, 27, was reportedly charged with reckless driving, felony eluding and felony driving revoked after he turned himself in to state police here June 19.
He is scheduled to appear in Fauquier County General District Court at 1 pan. Aug. 23.
