Water Quality Camp- Ages 12 and up. Learn how to do simple water test, improve water quality, prevent erosion and increase habitat for wildlife.

Mountain Adventures Camps
July 23 - July 27— ages 12 to 15. The fee is $140. Activities include swimming, hiking, climbing wall, ropes course, backpacking and overnight cam pout.
July 30 - August 3— ages 16 and Up. The fee is $180. Activities include ropes course, climbing wall, canoe on Shenandoah River, hike Appalachian Trail and camp out.

Janet Kerig’s Arts and
Crafts Camp
Scheduled for July 9-13; Aug. 6-10; Aug 13 - 17; Aug 20 - 24; Aug 27 - 31 at the Rappahannock Recreation Park Washington, Va. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Friday. Spend a week working on unique projects with professional artist Janet Kerig. The emphasis is on creativity, fun, games and the great outdoors. The multi-media experience includes: basket weaving, paper making, tie-dye, watercolor painting, bead work and jewelry making, art from nature, beeswax candle making, plus drumming, movement, nature walks and tennis .For children 6 -12. Teen volunteers earn community service points. Tuition per week is $160, second sibling $60. Janet Kerig director has a BA from University of Maryland and 20 years teaching experience including Glen Echo National Park, Montessori, Hearthstone, Wakefield, The Farm School, Rappahannock H.S and Elementary and Middle Street Gallery.
