The first thing Williams did when he took over was hold an informational meeting for players and parents. During that meeting, he laid out his goals and expectations. He wanted to increase participation, make the game fun for all players, and help make RCHS’ fledgling program competitive.
Well, the numbers are higher than they’ve ever been, and nearly every kid vfglk*, away from practice with - smile.
And if the first month of practice and two preseason games are any indication, the Panthers should be more competitive in 2007.
He’s already set lofty goals to have the top offense and defense in the district this season. And he’s got the kids

The Fauquier Mustangs 10U Travel Baseball Team will be holding open tryouts on September 5 and 7 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. as well as on September 8 from 5:00 - 7.00 pan. at Child's Field near Warrenton. Players bom on or after May 1, 1997 are eligible. Prior baseball experience is recommended, but not required. Please note, this tryout is to fill a limited number of roster positions.
