Quilt Chib meeting
The Rappahannock Quilt Club will resume monthly meetings on Tuesday, September 11 at the Washington Fire Hall located at 10 Firehouse Lane. Meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday of the month starting at 9 a m. If you have one of those half finished quilt projects tucked away.in a chest and you would like to get re-energized, if you need large work areas to spread out, if you want to learn new quilting techniques or swap quilt patterns, come join our informal group. Our members use many quilting techniques - from all handwork to the latest in machine patterns. Beginners are welcome. Stop by and see what this talented group has to offer.

On Wednesday September 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Aging Together and Culpeper Regional Hospital are hosting the final stop on a statewide Health Care Listening Tour. This event organized by the Virginia Interfaith Center on Public Policy wil take place at the PoweH Wellness Center in Culpeper. Attendees win have the opportunity to answer the question "What do you think the health care system should provide for all people?” Public input from this and other stops throughout Virginia will be used to develop two important documents: A Health Care Bill of Rights to guide decision-makers and a white paper on state legislation that might be needed to improve the health care system.
