Scott Wilde learned Tuesday night that his Rappahannock County High School volleyball team can deal with adversity.
Luray scored five straight service points to post a 25-23 second-game win and knot its match with the visiting Lady Panthers at one game apiece.
But dropping the second game did not faze Rappahannock County.
“After the loss, they pounded Luray” Wilde said. “The way that they came back after losing a game and stuck together as a group pleased me.”
Emily Carter’s nine consecutive service points highlighted the third game and helped the Lady Panthers to a 25-19, 2325, 25-9,25-17 win over Luray.
With the victory, Rappahannock County remains undefeated at 3-0. The Lady Panthers were scheduled to play
