Kevin Adams studied painting at the American Institute in Aix-enProvence, France and the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. He was an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and was designated with the title Combat Artist. Kevin has also designed theatrical sets, including the sets for the Washington National Opera, for several years. He lives and works in Washington, Virginia where he and Jay Brown run the Gay Street Inn.
The paintings included in this first-time exhibition at the R. H. Ballard Gallery are almost exclusively of the Rappahannock County area and display his wonderful sense of light, color and composition.
