A Nature Camp

And so 21 years ago - two decades before Richard Louv’s extraordinary book and the Children & Nature Network which it has created - he became one of the founders of the Piedmont Environmental Council’s regional network of Natural History Day Camps, which today serve Rappahannock, Albemarle, Fauquier, Loudoun, and Orange Counties. Originally held at Rock Mills, the Rappahannock Nature Camp was later relocated to Singing Creek.
