Almanac

Correct

Score another one for the Farmer’s Almanac. So far, this winter has been warmer and whiter than the last, just as the Almanac predicted. And there’s probably more snow to come during February and March, traditionally months that have given Virginia her heaviest snowfalls.

According to data from Miss Ruby Jenkins' weather station in Washington, we’ve had a total of 24 inches so far with ten fresh inches on the ground after Thursday night’s storm. Last week’s snow was a little lighter in Amissville. Measurements taken at Lucille Riley’s weather station there show that only eight inches fell.
