HOUSE OF DELEGATES members learned Jan. 16 to what committees they had been assigned.
House Speaker John Warren Cooke told the 1(XD delegates that he had attempted to comply with their requests but that he had 300 requests for only 40 openings on committees.
He said that assignments were made generally according to geographical guidelines and seniority.
