Gov. Dalton
The Virginia Angus Association will hold its annual meeting Feb. 17-18 at the Hyatt House, Richmond. The program will include events for both juniors and adults, with distinguished guest speakers both days.
Governor John Dalton, who is actively involved in the Angus business, will address the banquet Feb. 17.
The Feb. 18 program will consist of annual meetings of the Virginia Women’s Angus Auxiliary and the Virginia Junior Angus Association.
New officers and directors will be elected during the afternoon business meeting, and funds will be solicited for the 1978 heifer project to support junior heifer shows.
Commissioner of Agriculture H. Mason Carbaugh will address the luncheon meeting, when awards will be presented and auctions held.
