Men’s Day was observed at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Sunday, the men being in charge of all activities with Bob Rooper as guest speaker.
Mr. and Mrs. James Minnis and Chris of Culpeper were Sunday callers on Mr. and Mrs. Waverly Kennedy.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill were shower hosts for Mr. and Mrs. Ben Giles Saturday evening with about twenty guests present.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Smoot and Tom of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. James Peyton and family were Sunday afternoon callers on Mrs. W. S. Peyton. Penny, Jeff, and Kindall Peyton spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baker of Winston. Mr. and Mrs. Lor in g Anderson Jr., and family of Culpeper were recent guests of the Peyton family.
Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Marshall of Culpeper were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lillard.
Mr. and Mrs. Carter White dined at the Steer House Restaurant in Culpeper on Sunday and later visited Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dodson.
