Heflin

Mrs. Minnie Pearl Heflin, 49, of Amissville died January 22, 1978 in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Mary Susan Settle Whorton. Her husband was the late John Clarence Heflin.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Peggy Vogl of Bealeton, Mrs. Betty Clatterbuck of Elkwood and Mrs. Mary Clark of Warrenton; and four grandchildren. Other survivors are two brothers, Russell J. Whorton of Bealeton and Ira P. Whorton of Amissville; and three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Elliott of Amissville, Mrs. Virginia Burke of The Plains and Mrs. Lena Raines of Mineral.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, today, at 1 p.m. from the Geest Funeral Home, Culpeper, conducted by the Rev. James A. Wood or Warrenton. Interment will be in Amissville Baptist Cemetery.
