consignments are now being accepted for the Interstate Horse and Pony Sale March 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Fauquier Livestock Exchange in Marshall.
The sale should feature a variety of horses and ponies for show, hunt and pleasure, as well as leadline and walktrot ponies, young prospects and breeding stock. It is sponsored by the Fauquier Foxes 4-H Horse Club. Entries for the sale catalog will be accepted until March 1, but late entries may be made until 2 p.m*. on sale day. Late entries will be sold after the cataloged entries. The cataloging fee is $15 per animal or $25 with a reserve bid. Ten percent of the selling price will go to the 4-H club.
