Horace Cliftoii Pullen, Jr., S3, of Flint Hill, died February 12, 1979 In Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, at 11 a.m. from Flint HUl United Methodist Church, the Rev. Pittard officiating. Interment will be in Flint Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Pullen was born August 20, 1925, in Flint Hill, son of Horace C. Pullen Sr. and Lizzie Nokes Pullen. He was a member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church and Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, James Thomas Pullen of Falls Church and three sisters, Julia P. Lillard and Etelee P. Putman, both of Front Royal, and Ruth Lillard Harding of Arlington. He was predeceased by two brothers.
Pallbearers will be M. H. Brady, Emory Russell, Robert Oatterback, Dabney Eastham, Charles Smith, Nelson Atkins Jr. and Thurman Whorton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Flint Hill United Methodist, Church.
