Mrs. Dorcas Virginia Kuser, 67, of Chester Gap, died Monday, February 12, 1979 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. from Chester Gap Baptist Mission, the Rev. William Alford officiating. Interment will be in the Williams Cemetery at Chester Gap.
Mrs. Kuser was born April 16, 1911 at Chester Gap, daughter of the late Ernest Williams and Nettie Williams. She was a member of Chester Gap Baptist Mission.
She is survived by her husband, Basil Kuser; four brothers, Sherman Williams, Albert Williams, and John Williams, all of Chester Gap, and David Williams of Front Royal, and one sister Phyliss Morris of Front Royal. Active pallbearers will be Albert Cameron, Bradley Williams, Ermand Morris, Lloyd Campbell, Haywood Williams and Lawrence R. Williams.
Settle
Geveland Ashby Settle Sr., 48, of Front Royal, died Wednesday, February 7,1979 in Warren, Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday from the - chapel of Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal, conducted by the Rev. Irving Johnson. Interment was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery in Washington, Va.
Mr. Settle was born Nov. 22, 1930 in Rappahannock County, son of Wade M. and Emma Lee Eastham Settle. He served in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Beulah Sarah Fox Settle; one son, Cleveland Ashby Settle Jr., one daughter, Patricia Ann Settle of Front'Royal; four brothers, Wade F. Settle, Charles M. Settle, Warren Lee Settle and Robert Eastham Settle, all of Front Royal and one sister, Mammie Whorton of Front Royal.
