His banking career began with this bank in 1975 as a manager trainee and he assumed the duties of Mortgage Settlement Office the following month. He has held this spot until his recent promotion.
Swindler was a member of the U. S. Air Force for 27 years. He holds a BS degree from the University of Nebraska and has completed two courses offered by the American Institute of Banking.
He lives in Hanover with his wife, the former Joan Brown of Sperryville, and two children Michael and Barbara.
