Woodard
Services for William Moses Woodard, 71,- of Brightwood were held Saturday at Clore Funeral Home, Culpeper, conducted by the Rev. George Johnson. Burial was in the Thoroughfare Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Woodard died February 7, 1979 at his residence after a long illness.
He was a native of Madison County, the son of the late William Albert and Elizabeth Fincham Woodard. He was an antique dealer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Woodard of Brightwood; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Dodson of Brightwood and Mrs. Evelyn Richards of Culpeper; four sons, William Woodard Jr. and Brian Woodard, both of Maryland, John Woodard and David Woodard, both of Orange; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Nicholson of Winchester, Mrs. Catherine Nicholson of Leon, Mrs. Ruth Liilard of Brightwood and Mrs. Raymond Weakley of Leon; and three brothers, Daniel Woodard of Orange, Henry Woodard of Brightwood and Albert Woodard of Madison; 33 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren.
