Pullen
Funeral services for Robert Edward Pullen of Culpeper were held Saturday at the Robinson River Primitive Baptist Church at Brightwood, conducted by Elder Elmer Skeen and Frank Coppedge, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Pullen, 87, died February 7, 1979 at his residence. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Robert Pullen and the Qurilla Bolen. His wife, the former Lessie Mae Frazier, died in 1970. He was a retired farmer and a member of Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church near Sperryville.
He is survived by six sons, David Pullen of Madison, Jim Pullen of Fredericksburg, Elwood Pullen of Stevensburg, Edward Pullen of Charlpttesville, Charles Pullen of Stafford, and Homer Pullen of Culpeper; six daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Brown of Shady Side, Md., Mrs. Elizabeth Reinsmith and Mrs. Anna Clatterbuck, both of Culpeper, Mrs. Lessie Jeter of Santee, Calif., Mrs. Myrtle Beasley of Riverhead, N. Y. and Mrs. Barbara Litten of Forest; 47 grandchildren and a number of1 great-grandchildren.
