PURPOSE: Jo further and perpetuate the art of a gentleman riding his own horse over fences in sporting competition after the fox hunting season. • CONDITIONS 1. Gentlemen owner-riders who are members of a recognized or registered hunt and whose entry is acceptable to each Hunt s Point-to-Point Committee. Minimum weight as by Conditions of each race, the minimum carried to be not less than 175 pounds. No non-winner weight allowances. Distance generally 2 Vi miles or more. 2. Horses which have been regularly and fairly hunted by the owner or a member of his immediate family with a recognized or registered pack during the current season, the gentlemen s entry to be proper certification of this qualification 3. Tack and attire as established by regular conditions of each Meeting. 4. Owner-rider of the horse winning the season’s highest point total to receive the anrtbal championship silver, and to hold the Seven Corners Permanent Challenge Trophy for one year. Presentation to Annual champion and runner-up at a suitable occasion. Trophy also to owner-rider winning the most points during the season. &. Points shall be counted for each owner-rider's horse in the horse’s best five races or less. Pqints are scored in each race at full value to each horse, including a dead heat, split race, walkover or another timber race combined with the Seven Corners race; Winner - 5 points; 2nd - 3 points; 3rd - 2 points; 4th -1 point; All other Starters -'/* point.
