On Friday, March 2, the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection quarterly program will present Edward E. Gark Jr. and Champlin Carney to speak in explication of their professions.

Clark’s presentation to RLEP will concentrate on Virginia’s proposed wilderness areas. He will explain the activity in the state which is directed towards the passage of necessary legislation for those areas to be included in the Federal Wilderness system, and will show what statutory wilderness is and what it is not; with reasons for such areas to be protected in light of the arguments being used against wilderness preservation. An explanation of the listerners potential assistance to secure the passage of wilderness legislation will be' given.
