Fletcher King Eastham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Eastham of Ben Venue, has been accepted for admission to Chowan College for the fall of 1979. Fletcher, a senior at Randolph-Macon Academy, will be enrolled in the pre-law curriculum.
Upon completion of the two-year pre-law program, Fletcher will receive an associate degree. The curriculum leads to a B;S. degree and preparation for a professional school.

Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Poe of Amissville are the parents of a son, James Gregory, bom January 31,-1^1979 in Fauquier Hospital. Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Poe, Amissville and Mr. and Mrs. Muriel Campbell of The Plains. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Kilby of Culpeper and Mrs. Grace Campbell of Warrenton.
