The Washington Ladies Auxiliary grossed $3,375.45 in fund raising events during 1978, according to the president, Ruth Gark.
Among the activities which netted that amount were the Thrift Shop which took in $1,831.05; carnival proceeds $569.77; donation of $170 from an individual; house tour bake sale $357.81; Lions Gub dinner $176.30; arts and crafts bake sale $270.52.
These funds will be used toward completing the kitchen in the new fire house under construction.
