Bishop Thomas J. Welsh, first Bishop of Arlington Diocese will meet with the Catholics of Rappahannock at the annex of the old school in Washington on Saturday afternoon, July 7. This will be his first official meeting here, and he will celebrate the Euchorist at five o’clock in a temporary chapel in the annex. The people will meet with him informally at a buffet supper following the service.
Rappahannock is in the Arlington Diocese which was formed out of the Richmond Diocese in 1974.
