Mrs. Edith Matthews Yates, 66, of Front Royal, died Thursday June 28, 1979 in Washington, D. C.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Flint Hill Cemetery by the Rev. John Frizzell.
Mrs. Yates was the widow of the late James Edward Yates. She was a former resident of Rappahannock County.
She is survived by one son, James E. Yates III, of Alexandria and one daughter, Edith Ann Yates, of Washington D. C.
