The CMHC serves a 5 county rural ar'ea in north central Virginia, on the eastern slopes of the Shenandoah National Park about 50 miles southwest of Washington, D. C. The Center, operating with a decentralized philosophy of service delivery, is in the second year of federal funding with a budget of $1.2 million. The candidate must have a strong background, not only in clinical work, but also in a demonstrated background in administration. Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in a behavorial science at at least 6 years of progressively responsible experience, no less than two of which must be in administrative position.
