No More Small

Envelopes

Postal patrons must use up their small and undersized envelopes and cards before July 15.

Effective on that date, new size standards will be imposed. Cards and envelopes measuring less than 3'/2 inches high and 5 inches long will be returned to the sender.

Thin or flimsy cards are also prohibited.

First class envelopes more than 6‘/« by ll'/a inches will incur and 7-cent surcharge if they weigh one ounce or less.

Small envelopes and flimsy cards tend to jam mail processing equipment and cause damage to other mail as well.
