To the editor:
I am both stunned and amazed at the outcome of the School Board Election.
It is an insult to the people of Wakefield District that only Mr. Eastham's brother is qualified to serve on the board.
I question the legality of it. Isn’t this considered a conflict of interest, remembering the fact that Mrs. Cannon was ineligible to serve on the electoral board because of Mr. Nichols affiliation with Mr. Cannon?
Last but not least, Mr. Eastham has not been a resident IN the United States for approximately 20 years. Consequently, he has no children in the schools, doesn’t know the problems of the school^; and, as of the time of his appointment, Mr. Eastham was not a taxpaying landowner.
