The people who play there have really been the only source of upkeep for the courts (rims and backboards) in the past five years, and anyone arguing that fact is simply talking uninformed, undiluted, falsehoods with not much real knowledge of what he-she is talking about. Even during the school year it is the people who play there who pay for the nets and put them up themselves, out of their own pocket, One rim has stayed up only after constant service from the people who play there. We just like to play basketball; what is so wrong with that?
As a citizen of Rappahannock it would give me great pleasure to be able to utilize some of our summer recreational facilities so well located and maintained in and by the county. I suppose that when they get here I won’t be the only one in line to marvel and be amazed by the sight.
