In view ot the obvious political sensitivity of DeBolt’s employment, they might at least have told their boss that they were going to employ DeBolt.
Dalton has applauded the hiring of DeBolt, and declard himself “delighted” with the action of his staff members.
What he should have done was take the lot of those involved to the woodshed. The whoe episode has been an undiluted public relations disaster for his administration, with the governor caught in the middle.
And ironically, the whole thing was brought on by those who are supposed to be experts at public relations.
