A SCOUT COURT OF HONOR was held by Troop 123 of Washington on Friday^^une 21 at Sundance Farm, home of Unit Commissioner W. F. “Yogi” Bear and Mrs. Bear. Mike White and Edward Summers were promoted to Life Scouts; Rickey Shaw, Richard Burke and Jimmy Freeman to First Class and Chucky Jenkins to Second Class. Merit badges earned by the troop this period include Environmental Science, Machinery, Stamp Collecting, Personal Management, Pets, Dog Care, Personal Fitness and Fishing. Parents and guests enjoyed singing contests, skits and slides from previous scouting activities of the troop over the past four years.
