The Flint Hill Homemakers Club was recognized as “Qub of the Year” at the recent Achievement Night at which time all county clubs were judged on projects and achievement.
The Flint Hill group received this distinction for its accomplishments during' the year, including community service in addition to activities within its membership.
The Amissville Club received first place on its Achievement Night exhibit which was on a quilt and quilting project. Mrs. Frances Lawrence and Mrs. Katherine Riley each had a double wedding ring quilt in the exhibit.
The Rappahannock News had incorrectly credited the Amissville Gub with Club of the Year instead of first in exhibits.
