Dinner guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lindstrom were Mr. and Mrs. Field Benton, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. Carroll Quaintance and Mrs. Harald Havstad and Peter,, all of Sperryville, and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Campbell of Luray. The dinner was in honor of the birthdays of Mrs. Estes and Mrs. Havstad.
Mrs. Jessie Wisecarver of Stephens City was a houseguest of her aunt, Mrs. Gilbert Updike from Sunday until Wednesday last week. Saturday callers were Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Metz of Falls Church.
Miss Norma Williams of Chester Gap, Mrs. Reid Payne and Teresa Knight accompanied by Ms. Sheila Estes were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fritts in Front Royal.

The Rappahannock Farmers’ Market will have a bake sale Saturday, December 8, beginning at 10 a.m. in front of Jamesway Store, Culpeper.
