The 40 to 60 age group is projected to show the most significant change, increasing from 1,534 persons or 26.4 per cent of Rappahannock’s total population in 1978 to 2,452 persons or 34.1 per cent in the year 2000.

According to the plan’s draft chapter, the 65 and older age group will show the second greatest change, increasing from 771 persons Qr 13.2 of total population in 1978 to 1,080 or 15 per cent bv 2000.
