Capelle said he will bring the completed village studies on the communities of Washington, S perry ville. Flint Hill, Amissville, Woodville and Chester Gap to the December 19 meeting of the planning commission for review.
At the January meeting, the planners can go over all the background material after it is assembled in a single document, he said. “Then we get into the hard stuff.”
Capelle suggested that the planners schedule extra meetings in January and February to work on the comprehensive plan's goals and objectives before taking the proposals to the public at community meetings.
The planners agreed tentatively to distribute copies of the comprehensive plan proposals printed as a tabloid on cheap newsprint and to make the proposed plan available for interested residents at locations throughout the county rather than mailing copies to all property owners.
