Church Notice

The United Methodist Church of Sperryville will present a pageant entitled “I Believe” on Sunday, December 16, at 7 p.m. The public is invited.

Carol Sing

A community carol sing will be sponsored by the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 16. All friends and neighbors are encourged to share in the joy of the Christmas season, by coming to the church, a mile south of Woodville on Rt. 522. Refreshments will be served.

Bridge Club

The Washington Bridge Club met November 29 at the home of Mrs. Paul Miller in Flint Hill. Prizes were won by Mrs. Lois Snead, Mrs. Elmo Flynt, Mrs. John Browning, Mrs. L. J. Turner and Mrs. E. M. Jones. Other guests were Mrs. W. A. Moore, Mrs. Roberta Spalding, Mrs. Mary G. Edmonds, Mrs. Ruth Keyser, Mrs. Dorothy Davis, Mrs. Virginia Lindstrom and Mrs. , Virginia Smith.
