me i\ubii rviver company craftsmen cooperative on Gay Street in Washington,1 is having its third annual Christmas open house on Saturday, December 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The festive (Jay will feature a number of special events: June Jordan’s newly created pottery birdforms will be highlighted in the gallery setting of the shed along with a new kiln load of her functional pieces.
Several quilts by Jenny Beyer will be shown including her most recent work and the ray of light masterpiece which took first place in the Good Housekeeping quilt contest. Jenny will be on hand all day demonstrating her quilting technique and autographing her fast selling book “Patchwork”. .
Some autographed books by other Rappahannock authors like Sen. Eugene McCarthy and James J. Kilpatrick will also be available.
