Under a rosemary Christmas tree, Sherrie has arranged bath herbs, tea strainers and herb teas, ceramic spice and herb jars, homemade jellies and herb vinegars and herb scented note paper with old fashioned drawings and folk sayings about herbs. Shoppers can buy frankencense and myrrh, gifts brought by the three wise men to the infant Jesus. Youngsters can make their own selection from herbs to sew up into little packets for mom, auntie or grandma or buy sachet already packaged in patchwork designs.
Sherrie has distinctive herb patchwork pillows also, each with an envelope pocket full of sachet. “You can change the scent,” she noted. “It makes the room or the couch or whatever smell so good.”
Upstairs and downstairs at Fouth Mountain, Sherrie has antique furniture, china, silver, porcelain, prints, crocks and mirrors. Adding a touch of greenery to the decor, she has boxes of sweet scented geraniums basking in the upstairs window also for sale'.
