Where were the concerned parents at last week’s educational program on drug and alcohol sponsored by the Rappahannock School board? They weren’t at the elementary school.

Excluding persons with a direct connection to the schools—teachers, principals, librarians, administrators and school board members—there were onlv a handful of parents who bothered to show up and be informed.

There's been no lack of publicity regarding worry over drug and alcohol use in the schools. More than adequate notice was given for Tuesday’s meeting. So where was everyone?
