Pre-registration at $5 per runner will continue through Friday afternoon. To register, call 675-3621 or 675-3417. Registration on the day of the race will be $6 with entries taken up to 9 a.m. at the start of the course in Flint Hill. Tee-shirts will be given to the first 300 runners to register.

Water stops will be set-up at intervals along the six-mile course. In addition, the Washington Baptist Church on the corner across the street from the court house will have hot lunches for sale to hungry runners and spectators at the race. The

church’s Spring Event will also include plants, odds and ends and baked goods for sale.

The second annual running of the Fodderstack Classic is sponsored by Nature’* Foods in Washington. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Rappahannock Recreation Center.
