Late Monday afternoon, a tornado touched down in the Castleton*Woodville area of Rappahannock. Progress of the freak storm ums captured by Dr. Bill Young who snapped a series of photographs over a three minute span from his home near Castleton.
The tornado’s funnel lifted the roof off Harry Clarkson’s barn and reportedly toppled a utility pole and power lines onto a passing truck but no one was injured.
