Last Friday, Rappahannock's varsity Panthers challenged the Luray Bulldogs in a hard fought home game. The Panthers held the Bulldogs even for the regulation seven innings before being edged out in the eighth, 3 to 2.
The Panthers managed four hits with Gary Leake and Doug Nichols each connecting for a double while Tony Armentrout and Larry Settle both had a single.
