Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Miller Jr. spent the weekend in Odenton, Md.

Wednesday afternoon bridge guests of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning were Mrs. Mary Edmonds of Huntly and Mrs. Frank Spalding. John B. Browning of Charlottesville spent the weekend with his parents.

Saturday guests of Mrs. M. H. Brady were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane of Lanham, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hamilton of High Point, N. C. arrived Sunday to spend several days with Mrs. Hamilton’s mother, Mrs. Brady. Sunday afternoon callers were Mrs. Mary Atkins of Amissville and Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady Jr.

Mrs. Virginia Gochenour of Luray spent the weekend with her sister, Mrs. Elmer Atkins and Mr. Atkins. Visiting Sunday were Mrs. E. M. Beverage, Tammy and Kim and Lester Clatterbuck, all of Front Royal and Mr.

FireRescue

The Flint Hill Rescue Squad was on stand-by April 5 at the Old Dominion Races at Ben Venue.

The Sperryville Rescue Squad transported Mrs. Ollie Jackson April 6 from Burke’s Store in Woodville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

On April 8 Edward Gore was taken from his home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial and then transported to University of Virginia, Charlottesville.
