Struck

By Lightning

Andy Settle of Amissville was hospitalized after he was struck by lightning during a storm Sunday evening at the home of Ray Coffey at Castleton where he was visiting. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Settle of Route 729.

According to his mother, Any was drawing a pail of water from an outside faucet when he was hit. He realized he had been sturck before he blacked out and remained unconscious for about an hour, she said.

He was taken to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton by Amissville Rescue Squad where he remained until Tuesday. He received no burns, but had trouble maintaining steady blood pressure, Mrs. Settle said, but is apparently all right now.
