Olympic Day
Cub Scout Pack 123 of Washington participated in Cub Olympic Day held at Randolph Macon Academy, Front Royal on Saturday, August 9.
Cubs attending were Martin Chaffee, William Compton. Brendan Finnerty. Joey F.ldred, Neil Brurke and Lee Baines.
Neil Burke won a second place ribbon in the pine wood derby. In the physical events ribbons were awarded Joey Eldred for third place in the 8 year old group; Lee Baines first in the 10-11 year old group and Neil Burke third in this group.
Regional competition will be held Saturday, September 13 at Camp Rock Enon at Gore.
Adult leaders and parents were Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Chaffee. Mr. and Mrs. William Compton, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Finnerty, Mrs. Lynne Baines and Mrs. Karen Bear.
