Hume

Willie Joseph Hume, 73, of Culpeper, died Sunday, August 10. 1980 at his residence.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, Culpeper by the Rev. John S. Farrar.

A native of Alexandria and a former resident of Fauquier County. Mr. Hume was the son of the late Edward and Mary Nettie Payne Hume. He was a retired farmer and a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church at Cliff Mills.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Mae McDonald Hume; two sons, Donald Hume and Willie Hume, both of Culpeper; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Delores Ward of Midland and Mrs. Patricia Ann Jones of Rappahannock; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ester Gill and Mrs. Virginia Hall, both of Warrenton and a brother, James Hume of California.
